Charlie Parker's Yardbird - Post-Opera Set

Don’t miss the much-anticipated Chicago premiere of Charlie Parker’s Yardbird , composed by Daniel Schyder. This chamber opera explores the life of the legendary saxophonist, Charlie Parker, as his spirit returns to the famous Birdland jazz club to compose one final masterpiece. The experience will be made complete with a post-show performance of Charlie Parker’s music by members of Chicago Jazz Philharmonic.
