The Chicago Jazz Philharmonic is incorporated and recognized in the State of Illinois as a not-for-profit corporation. The organization is tax exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(C)3 of the Internal Revenue Code as of May 5, 2004 (tax exempt letter available upon request). Therefore, any donations/contributions to CJP is 100% tax deductible.
