The highlight of our 2009-10 Concert Series is our full 57-piece orchestra performance at the Auditorium Theatre, “From Ella to Mandela: The Legacy of the African and American Spirit”. CJP Chamber Workshop: Siete Mares, April 24, 2010

This performance is a "work-in-progress" presentation of Orbert Davis' next large orchestral suite "Siete Mares," slated for premiere in Summer 2010 at Millennium Park. A seven-movement orchestral suite celebrating the Afro-Latin heritage in the Americas, each movement honors seven distinct Latin sub-genres representing different cultures fused with classical and jazz stylings.
